How does the Rinnai HydraHeat® Hot Water System work?

The Rinnai HydraHeat® Hot Water System uses the same form of technology as the heat pumps you might use to heat or cool your home. With the Rinnai HydraHeat® the main difference is that it exchanges heat from air to water rather than air to air. This exchange of heat warms the water in your hot water cylinder, ready for you to use.

What are the installation requirements for a Rinnai HydraHeat®?

Installation requires a qualified plumber and electrician. The Rinnai HydraHeat® unit needs to be installed outside. What is the warranty on a Rinnai HydraHeat®?

Rinnai offers a 5-year heat pump unit warranty and a 7-year cylinder warranty on their HydraHeat® heat pumps. To protect the warranty it’s important to choose a Rinnai-approved installer and a qualified plumber and electrician.

Are there any government rebates or incentives available for installing a Rinnai HydraHeat® in NZ?
